Changelog
What's new in Operio
New features and improvements across web and mobile testing, exploratory runs, the CLI and MCP server, and integrations.
October 2026
- LatestTestsAPI
A new test editor, with API request steps
The test editor is now built around its steps, and New test opens straight into structured steps. A new step type sends an API request in the middle of a test, so you can seed data or trigger your backend before the next step.

- IntegrationsBugs
Azure DevOps bug reporting
Send the bugs Operio finds to Azure DevOps, with the expected and actual behavior and the steps to reproduce already written.
- API
API reference
The Operio REST API now has an OpenAPI spec and a full reference in the docs.
- MCP
Hosted MCP server
Connect Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or VS Code to Operio's hosted MCP server to write tests, start runs and read the results.
- Integrations
Google Chat alerts
Send failure alerts to a Google Chat space, next to Slack and email.
August 2026
- Exploratory
Goal-driven exploratory runs
Give the agent a one-sentence goal. It explores the areas that matter, gives each one a verdict and reports the bugs it finds, with a recording.
- iOSAndroid
Mobile testing for iOS and Android
Upload a zipped iOS Simulator .app or an Android .apk from the web app or the CLI, and run plain-English tests on cloud devices with a live device view.
Ship with confidence. Give your team more QA capacity.
Bring your own app. We will test it live in the walkthrough.
